Short history of the piano (video)

The first piano, invented in 1700 by an Italian instrument technician and tuner named Bartolomeo Cristofori, who worked at the Court of Medici in Florence Italy.  This video gives a very brief history and a performance on a replica instrument, identical to that of Cristofori’s.

Correction: the una corda pedal is the pedal on the left and not in the middle as stated in the video.
